Welcome back for another Passion Project! For this month we are making a hamburger!

Now I know are you probably thinking why on earth would I choose to share a hamburger pattern during the Thanksgiving Holiday season, lol. Well, although dressing, turkey, yams, and mac n cheese sounds amazing, I wanted to step outside of the box a little bit and do something different. I mean, who doesn’t love a good hamburger?!?

My Passion Projects were introduced this year as a means for me to get back into the joy of crocheting, and I wanted to share my passion for the art with others. The patterns were originally designed to be super easy and very quick.

I will say that this hamburger, although super cute, is a bit more complicated than the other patterns I have posted so far this year. Sorry about that, but I just couldn’t resist when the idea was pitched on my IG page.

Though the total project will take a bit longer, the individual pieces are fairy easy to make, a beginner crocheter should be able to pull this one off this no problem.

If you do run into issues, please feel free to reach out and I will try to help you =)

Alrighty, without any further rambling, here is the Passion Project for this month!

The easiest way I found to put this bad boy together is to stack everything, except the buns, and do a quick stitch to hold them all in place. I stacked mine in this order: meat, tomato, cheese, and lettuce. Then I used my yarn needle to attach the meat to the bottom bun and the lettuce to the top bun.

If you want to get really fancy you can add sesame seeds with white yarn, or even eyes to make it super Kawaii (cute).

Then you are all done, try it out and let me seeeeee @zumamiko.
